The Center for Chinese Studies Library has grown to become one of the premier research collections on contemporary mainland Chinese affairs in the United States. The new home of the CCS Library, the C.V. Starr East Asian Library opens in Fall 2007.

East Asian Library Collection
The East Asian Library contains one of the most comprehensive collections of materials in East Asian languages in the United States. Its combined holdings in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and other East Asian languages make it one of the top two such collections in the United States outside of the Library of Congress.
