China Labor Working Group

The China Labor working group brings together faculty, researchers and graduate students who are working on issues pertaining to labor in China: labor migration, labor activism, labor protests, NGOs and transnational activism on labor, labor privatization and the work unit, labor law and unionism, the globalization and expansion of multinational corporations and off-shore production in China. We meet regularly to share current research findings and to provide a forum for collaboration, critical thought and practically engaged activism.

The Visual Arts Working Group

The Visual Arts Working Group is intended to offer a forum for the many avenues that visual arts relating to China take on the UC Berkeley campus. This group will meet quarterly to discuss research, provide opportunities to share programming, and disseminate information about projects of interest in the area of visual arts.
